I had the privilege to take my grandma here for a quick dinner on Good Friday, after snagging a last minute reservation. I am so glad I did. We both had such a blast. Jessie our waitress was the star of the show. She was an absolute gem and took great care of my grandmother. She's great at her job! I think they have the best fried chicken I've had. The Mole Chicken at Regards in Maine was darn close, but I think this one put it over the goalpost. My grandma never eats breading and she torn through that sucker like it was nothing. Second to that was the Fried chicken rillette, essentially a fried chicken salad. It was supreme. I've never had deep fried saltines but it's something I need to try at home because they are incredible. Finally, concluding with the Almond Joy dessert we were both thrilled. It has a variety of textures and flavors and it perfectly captures the experience of eating a premium version of an Almond joy bar. I hope to come back to do the fixed course. We were stuffed and the bill before tip only came to 93. For two people in downtown CLE with plenty to take home, I think that's more than reasonable. "Midwest Nice" means you get sat down with reasonable prices and honking plates of food and that's what I really enjoyed here. Kudos to the back and front of house for an amazing establishment.

My wife and I had dinner reservations here a couple weeks ago, but the food and experience was so memorable I just had to come back and leave a review! We tried four drinks, two appetizers, a side, and two main courses. Every single thing we tried we absolutely loved. Our waitress (can't remember her name, think it might've been Emily?) was amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and offered amazing suggestions. We had the slivovitz spritz, for elyse, saz-who, abyss, farmers cheese, smoked fish dip, jojos, burger box, and fried chicken. All of it was out of the park amazing. We will definitely be back to try more of this amazing menu. Couldn't recommend enough! If I could give 100 stars, I would.
